The Crow Flameheads

Measures: 24 x 32 inches

Mixed media on heavy board

This painting was used in the sequel to the Crow (City of angels) as part of the set dressing. It is the piece that prompted Alex Mcdowell and James O'Barr to consider Bill Koeb for that job, and is one of his favorite pieces. Very powerful with a dark tone and a wondferful use of photographic collage.

Tina portrait commission

Measures: 16 x 20 inches

Mixed media on canvas

Awesome painting commissioned to Koeb and made on canvas. He worked on some popular comics, including Sandman, Hellraiser, X-Files, Tales from the Edge and Kabuki.
Realized with a photographic elaboration united to incredible painting art. Koeb applied two real leaves making the portrait very powerful and elegant.

Measures: 14 x 11 inches

Mixed media on paper board

Taken from the Alan Moore's songs book this 8 pages story was included beside many other works painted by artists like Arthur Adams, Terry Moore, Dave Johnson, Dave Gibbons and many others. It's painted with acrylic and dyes on photographs and was printed in black and white so you can appreciate the colors in the original artwork. Really impressive.
