The art is a collage work with hand painted-scratched photographs, which is the medium for which Dave McKean is best known and respected. . The work depicts Robert Deniro's looming visage as he hovers over the brooding Leonardo DiCaprio, a scene plucked the movie "This Boys Life" which they both appeared. The work is signed Dave McKean. The art originally appeared in the The Current Cinema section to illustrate an article written by Terrence Rafferty, titled "Monsters" |
